The Kindness Pandemic is a voluntary movement and learning platform. Participation reflects a commitment to humane care. Accreditation and certification remain separate processes, managed by their respective bodies.

An authorised representative completes the online signing flow: enter your institution’s details, accept the Charter declaration, consent to public listing, and submit. You then verify your email, and our team reviews the application before your institution is listed.
You verify your email to activate access. Our team reviews your application, usually within a few working days. On approval, you receive dashboard access, a public listing, and your official badge and certificate.
Review keeps the signatory directory credible and confirms that official badges and certificates are used by verified institutions.
Yes. Once verified, institution admins can edit the profile, logo, champions and contact details from the dashboard.
Champions are people your institution nominates to collect local stories, submit practice notes, generate QR posters and support kindness rounds. They have their own verified access.
Institution admins and champions verify their email before using signatory functions, and access is linked to approved roles.
Anyone — patients, families, visitors, volunteers and staff — through the website or by scanning a hospital QR poster.
Each story is reviewed before it appears. Light editing or anonymisation may be applied to protect privacy. You may also choose to share anonymously.

The Kindness Wall features stories of kindness. For a concern about care, please contact the hospital directly through its official channels.
Publication follows explicit consent in every case, and an anonymity option is offered for every submission.
Submissions pass through moderation before publication. A first, AI-assisted level flags content for a human moderator, who can approve, edit, anonymise, hold, or remove it. This keeps publication safe and efficient.
Yes. Content can be corrected, anonymised, unpublished or removed when required.
Official assets that verified signatories display to show their commitment. They are available to verified institutions.
The directory recognises participation. Signatories appear alphabetically or by location, with equal standing for every institution. Recognition draws on milestones, spotlights and learning notes.
