Apollo BGS Hospitals

Apollo BGS Hospital was established on 29 July 2001 in the heart of Mysore, popularly known as the Royal City. It was founded on the shared vision of two eminent leaders: Dr. Prathap C. Reddy, Founder-Chairman of the Apollo Group and Padma Vibhushan awardee, and Jagadguru Padma Bhushan Sri Sri Sri Balagangadharanatha Swamiji.
From its humble beginning as a 10-bedded healthcare facility, Apollo BGS Hospital has evolved into a 213-bedded multi-speciality tertiary care hospital, delivering advanced emergency care and housing Centres of Excellence in Cardiology, Neurology, Gastroenterology, Orthopaedics, and Oncology. Initially accredited by NABH, the hospital has further strengthened its quality standards with accreditations including NABH, NABL for laboratory services, QAI Stroke certification, and NABH accreditation for its Institutional Ethics Committee.
